You're not sick. But we think client sounds transactional.
Nail technicians have clients. Realtors have clients.
So we usually say patient.
Feel free to disagree.

Life usually turns out different than expected,
but we can work to make it better.
Do I have a negative relationship with myself?
Do I feel like I need to mask myself?
Do I feel either broken or defective?
Do I feel like I don’t fit in?
Do I often feel empty or alone?
Do I often struggle to know what I want?
Do I feel torn between wanting to be alone and wanting to be with others?
Psychotherapy is a way of processing thoughts or feelings, figuring out one’s self, gaining insight to make better choices, having a safe and supportive space to grow, and having access to tools to learn how to change life direction. Psychotherapy is for people who:
- are in full mental-health crisis
- simply want to be more curious about themselves
- are tired of feeling "different"
- are in life transition
- need to rebuild their identities and make friends with their emotions
- swung for the fences in their career and missed and never recovered
- exhausted from being sandwiched between obligations to aging parents and to challenging kids
